It's here. It's happening.

We’re creating our own fighting game. We still can’t get used to the sound of that. Every time we hear it, we get even more excited.


For now, unfortunately, there are still details we can’t share, but we can guarantee this: if you're a true fighting game fan, every ounce of our effort is being dedicated specifically to meeting your expectations. This is the top priority for our entire Game Design team.
 

Project DC is one of the games set in the Slash Universe (that’s right, it’s a single universe, not a multiverse). In it, the consequences of events that began long before the game’s timeline are already unfolding, leading our warriors into intense battles as they seek solutions.

Okay, that might not have been clear enough, so let us introduce some concepts that might help you understand the Slash Universe a bit better:


Nexus City – After devastating events that nearly wiped out humanity, the global organization built a city in the middle of the desert, sheltering part of the surviving population. However, outside its walls, fearless inhabitants roam, trying their luck in search of survival or answers to the current situation. What awaits them out there?


Lumen Core – When part of humanity was forced to take refuge in Nexus City, this mysterious artifact, which remains a subject of scientific study, became the foundation of the city’s construction and continues to be the primary source of energy for the metropolis.


The Story of Project DC
The main focus of the game won’t be on the origin events or the dangers outside the city’s walls (that’ll be revealed in future games). Instead, it will center on the sadistic attempt to destroy the Lumen Core and the conspiracies tied to the global organization. This is what brings the characters together to fight, aiming to restore the city and uncover answers to their own personal motivations.

Story
A former elite soldier, the subject of Project Genesis, which created two twin brothers as supersoldiers to fight wars on behalf of the Central Government. They began to question their purpose in wars when they were ordered to neutralize people who had not necessarily done anything to them. After asking too many questions, the Central Government started to view the brothers as a threat, and they were marked for elimination, forcing them to go into hiding for a while.

After several unsuccessful attempts on their lives, during a targeted attack, Slash lost both of his arms and nearly died. He was found by Yuta and Android, who replaced his arms with nanotech. Now, Slash can create anything with his arms, though he primarily uses this power to create weapons, which is more efficient in battle.

Years after those events, now in the universe of Project DC, Slash's routine consists of going out into the city, striking directly at the heart of crime. Nexus City is much safer with him around.

When the stone energy dissipated, Slash united with Valentino and Bella, and together they are gathering strength to restore balance and uncover all of the Central Government's secrets.

Valentino

Archtype: Support role
Team: Slash, Valentino and Bella
Age: 26

Story
Member of a humble farming family, Valentino would have been a natural and promising leader to take over the family's lands and businesses. The oldest of his six siblings (5 brothers and 1 sister), he already carried out the work exceptionally well, knowing every detail of the service and how to deal with other stakeholders, such as agreements, partnerships, etc. He was also responsible for defending his property.

The excellence of the service provided and the growing fame of his family as a reference unfortunately caught the attention of local mobsters, who began visiting his lands and threatening his family. After great resistance and a decisive event, Valentino found himself in a position of impasse, where he needed to flee his country and likely never return.

In the universe of Project DC, he works as a security guard at a nightclub and is extremely focused on his job. You can’t win him over with words if you’re wrong. Most likely, you can’t beat him physically either.

With the dissipation of the Lumen Core energy, Valentino found himself bound to his friend Slash and his great love, Bella, to restore order to Nexus City.

Kuroshiro

Age: 22

Story

A psychopathic and arrogant assassin who uses poisons in his battle setup. Due to prolonged exposure throughout his life, he has developed a high resistance to chemically based weapons, yet he wears a mask as a form of irony. His sole objective is to crush the weak. When lacking a purpose, he takes on mercenary missions. Some of his employers have included the Central Government, the Shadow Gang, and Dr. Diaz—one of the scientists responsible for Project Genesis—who now seeks to destroy Nexus' main energy source.  

Kuroshiro has a deep antagonism with Slash, having already attempted and continuing to attempt to destroy him with all his might.  

Wherever he goes, he spreads chaos and has no concern for being a clean killer, as he believes no defense force is capable of restraining him. For the same reason, after escaping the only time he was ever imprisoned, he continues to wear his electronic ankle monitor, as he has no interest in hiding his location.

Bella

Story

Born into the golden cradle of aristocracy, Bella lives in a dichotomy. At times, she is flattered by members of her own social class, while at others, she is looked down upon by those who judge her for possibly being out of touch with the reality of the world.

Upon reaching a certain age, seeking to avoid the stigma of being a spoiled rich girl, she renounced her inheritance and set out into the world on her motorcycle. Her greatest goal is to explore new places and help those in need who lack access to the city's protective walls to survive.

In the universe of Project DC, Bella stands alongside Slash and Valentino to restore the integrity of the Lumen Core and keep Nexus safe.
